Tracer offsets- adding a tracer- tracer instructions
Taken from our website---- The tracer offset values are provided by your laboratory to determine the amount, in millimeters, to modify your trace file. Your lab needs this information in order to ensure your imported trace is correct. Note: This feature is not available for all labs. This feature allows you to add your tracer (or tracers) and associate offset values. Once you import a trace for an order, you may select your tracer from the Tracer Name drop-down field. The associated offset values and calculated circumferences are displayed and sent to the laboratory with your order. Note: You will need to add your tracer once, for each billing/shipping account. Adding a Tracer You may access the Edit Tracer Names and Offsets window by clicking the Edit Offsets button. This button is located to the right of the Install Drivers button if a trace has not yet been imported. If a trace has already been imported, this button is located below the trace image. You may also select the "Add Tracer Offset..." selection from the Tracer Name drop-down field. From the Edit Tracer Names and Offsets window, enter the Tracer Name, Offset (RE), and Offset (LE) in the appropriate fields. The Tracer Name should be something that you and your staff will easily recognize as your tracer. You may enter the Manufacturer and Version if you like. Click the Add Tracer button to add your tracer to the table. If your practice has multiple tracers or you order for multiple practices with different tracers, you may add more tracers by performing the previous steps.
