Procedure for Interfax

Interfax-Failed Faxed Orders Description: These emails come from Interfax. The email is sent for an order that failed fax. On the email you will see the e-order # as well as the lab it is being sent to. Step 1 Open the email sent from Interfax to retrieve the e-order #. Step 2 Log onto www.interfax.net. The username is visionweb and the password is 0haSto6utH. Step 3 Once you are logged in you will then select Fax Queues at the top and then select Outbound Queue. This will show all orders that are being faxed, have been faxed or failed to fax to the labs. Step 4 On the right of the screen you will locate the status which tells you if an order has been sent (green check mark) or failed to send (Red X). You can locate the e-order # in the Subject Box. Step 5 Once you locate the order that failed with the Red X you will then select the resend button in the box on the far right. A box will appear and you will select resend again. Step 6 Once you have resent the order be sure to go back to the first page and select the refresh button. Step 7 Until you see the order has been resent successfully you will want to continue to select refresh. Step 8 If you have more than 1 order that failed resend 1 order to make sure it goes through before resubmitting any others. Step 9 If the order fails again you want to contact the lab and let them know you are trying to fax an order and it is not going through. The lab may ask you to try again or they may say they will log in and they will pull the order. Step 10 Once the order has been successfully resent you will then want to respond to CS that the order has been successfully resent or if the lab is going to log in and pull the order state that in the email. If we have the incorrect fax number we can temporarily change the fax number in Interfax. Select the resend button and a box will appear with the option to change the fax number. **If the fax number needs to be permanently changed, then create a case in Salesforce for the Integration department.
