Fiddler

For the Officemate errors going forward, QA has asked if we could have the practice download a program called Fiddler while we?re on a GoToMeeting with them. This is to be done before we schedule a GTM with QA. Fiddler is a debugging software that QA uses to determine whether Officemate is successfully communicating with VisionWeb. 1. Have the practice go to http://www.telerik.com/fiddler or www.fiddler2.com and click the ?Free Download? button to install the software. 2. Once the program has been installed, have them open Fiddler (it looks like a data log), and then open Officemate to try and submit an order. 3. If the caller gets the same error they?ve been experiencing, have them switch to the Fiddler window to see if it recorded a transmission from Officemate to www.visionweb.com 4. If the Fiddler page looks the same as it did when opened, Officemate is not communicating with VisionWeb, and the practice likely has a firewall in place. If you are able to see that Officemate is attempting to send data to VisionWeb, then you can schedule another GTM for the practice with the QA Team. One way to test and make sure that Fiddler is recording these data requests is to have the caller open it, then go to Visionweb in their browser and log in. After they are logged in to the site, have them switch back to fiddler, you should see several lines of data indicating that the computer is communicating with the VisionWeb site.
