1/12 Rx Diopters Requests

Most lenses can be ordered in .12th diopter if the lab allows it. Most catalogs/labs are enabled for the rx to be accepted in 1/12 diopter so ECP?s should be able to place orders for an rx in 1/12 diopters if going to VW.com. It may or may not work depending on the PMS the ECP is using if that is where the Rx is entered. Officemate version 12.03 accepts Rx's in 1/12 diopters; however, the older versions of OM only accept Rx's in 1/4 diopters. Compulink can accept Rx?s in 1/12 diopters by having Jeff enable a setting. There is a different setting based on the Integration type. This is different from the Carl Zeiss i-Scription lens requests, the i-Scription lens is specially designed to give better vision at night and had to be fit using the i-Profiler and i-Scription technology. If you are not sure, check with integrations to see if the Pm can accept the .12th diopters.
